CONCEPT

Sam Gabor’s Celestial City is an ongoing musical saga that reimagines the arc from Genesis to Revelation  through lived human experience.

Each book represents a celestial era—MARKING A distinct epoch IN the progression of the journey.

MUSICAL LANGUAGE

The music draws from classical orchestral writing and modern film scoring—with recurring themes that connect across releases.

These themes are part of a larger narrative that is currently in development.

ORIGIN

Inspired by The Pilgrim’s Progress (1678), by John Bunyan, Celestial City unfolds as a long-form work in which each release serves as a chapter in a continuous journey.

WHILE BUNYAN'S ALLEGORY PROVIDES THE FOUNDATIONAL INSPIRATION, the journey follows A PATH DISTINCT FROM THE ORIGINAL.

VISUAL INFLUENCE

visually, the series echoes the likes of Gustave Doré and John Martin, informing the sense of scale, darkness, and light.
