Sam Gabor is a composer based in the United States. His work, Celestial City, reimagines the arc from Genesis to Revelation as an epic journey of human struggle, transformation, resilience and rebirth. Drawing on biblical structures as metaphorical narratives, Gabor’s music grapples with faith and the nature of the sacred.

Gabor’s compositional voice is shaped by both classical and cinematic traditions. These influences range from Bach and Beethoven to James Horner, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Hans Zimmer, Ludwig Göransson, Thomas Newman, Nicholas Britell, and Howard Shore to name a few. Together, these diverse voices inform his approach to orchestration and storytelling through sound.

Gabor’s forthcoming projects will build upon Celestial City, and expand the musical exploration of faith, transcendence, and the hidden spiritual architecture of human experience. These works are currently in development, and further details will be shared as they take shape.
